This valuable, protective top layer of material remains on the land, naturally breaks down, and does amazing things: controls water runoff and erosion, helps prevent the spread of invasive vegetation species, insulates existing tree roots, replenishes the soil, and serves as fertilizer for remaining trees as well as future landscaping.

What does Forestry Mulching cost?
HLM charges $1500 per day. We keep our overhead low and are able to pass this savings on to our customer. Compare this to most Companies that charge $2000- $3,000 per day for forestry mulching. In a 7-hour day we usually cover about 1 1/2-2 1/2 acres of land. However, this varies depending on the terrain’s condition. Rocky terrain or terrain with trees greater than 8-inches in diameter can cost a bit more than flat, smooth terrain. Ask about our Veteran & large job discounts! Every job is different.
